The Tax Administration reminds all sole proprietors of upcoming reporting deadlines regardless of who handles their tax matters. When the message pertains to your sole proprietorship, you can safely ignore it as Truster manages communication with the Tax Administration on your behalf. If you have any concerns, you can always contact Truster's customer service.

As a light entrepreneur, you work without your own business ID. Taxes are paid on the basis of your personal tax card. As a light entrepreneur, you can add the kilometres you have accumulated during the year to your personal tax return.

The business name will give you your own Y-identifier. We'll open a business name for you free of charge, and provide you with free access to the Driversnote app to keep a logbook. You're entitled to either mileage reimbursement, or you can deduct all your car expenses. Truster will take care of your invoicing, bookkeeping, and your company's tax affairs.

When you work through your own company, you do not use a normal tax card like a private individual. Your company is registered in the pre-tax register and pays taxes. We take care of these tax payments when we pay your personal taxes into your account. Truster will also take care of the VAT declaration for you.

We will create the invoices for you based on the information we receive from Wolt/Foodora. If the latest invoice is missing, please contact Wolt/Foodora.

This could also be a situation where you have a duplicate profile. If your profile is missing previous invoices or looks different (previous information has now disappeared), please contact Truster Customer Service via the Messages section of the app.

Yes! You must take out YEL insurance if you meet the criteria, whether you are a light entrepreneur or a sole trader. YEL insurance must be taken out if the following five criteria are met:

1) You are aged 18-67.

2) You are self-employed for at least four consecutive months.

3) Your YEL income exceeds €9208.43 in 2025 (about €767/month).

4) You work as a light self-employed person or as a sole trader.

5) You live in Finland.

If one of these criteria is not met, you do not need to take out YEL insurance.

YEL insurance is based on your income. You can use the calculator on our website to see how much your monthly premium would be. You will also find a link on our website to get YEL insurance. When you take out insurance through Truster, we will receive your invoice from our partner Elo and automatically deduct the premiums from your payments. This means you don't have to worry about insurance premiums yourself!

Truster billing starts when you have notified Wolt/Foodora that you want to bill via Truster. You will receive a confirmation message informing you of the billing period from which your billing data will be transmitted to Truster.

You don't need to create invoices for Wolt itself, or for Foodora. We automatically receive your billing information from them, create the invoice for you and pay your salary on payday, or in advance if you prefer, using the InstantPay function.

At the end of 2023, a reform by the Tax Administration will require the main courier to invoice under his or her own business name, so that the invoicing service can transfer the invoice to a substitute. Both the main courier and the substitute must have their own Truster in order to successfully transfer the invoice.

Once the invoicing through your company has started, you can transfer the invoice to your deputy Truster itself.

If 100% of the invoice is passed on to your substitute, only the substitute will pay the taxes according to his/her tax card/pre-tax bill. You will have no income and no expenses if the entire bill is transferred to the substitute. If part of the invoice is paid to you, your share will be taxed according to your company's tax code, and the substitute's share will be taxed according to the substitute's tax card/tax code.

When you order a business name service from us, we will send you an authorisation request to the suomi.fi service. We need your authorisation to enable you to use the Truster Pro Light service. We will also need your authorisation in the future so that we can act as your accountant and take care of your company's tax affairs, such as paying advance tax and filing annual tax returns. If you do not grant authorisation to Truster Works Ltd, it will not be possible to implement the business name service.

We also want to offer business owners the most worry-free service possible. That's why we take care of all tax-related matters for you.

You can concentrate on your business to the full, without having to worry about paying potentially large sums to the Tax Administration every three months.

Once your business has started invoicing, you can submit vouchers for your business expenses to the accounting department. These include car and motoring-related expenses (fuel, maintenance, insurance and taxes, spare parts, car wash, parking fees), telephone expenses (purchase of a new telephone, telephone bills), and any business insurance bills. If you use your car for work, please provide us with a receipt or bill of sale.

Receipts are delivered via a receipt scanner, which you can find in the Truster menu under 'Receipts'. You can take a picture of the receipt or download it as a file.

You can keep a logbook using the Driversnote app. We offer you the app free of charge (normally 120€/year). Creating reports is quick and easy, and there's no need to submit them separately to the Truster app!

To open the account, start by subscribing to Truster Pro Light in the Truster app (Menu > Subscription > select Truster Pro Light). You will receive a subscription confirmation in the Messages section of the application.

In a few minutes, you will receive instructions on how to grant us authorisation on suomi.fi. We need your credentials to enable you to use Truster Pro Light . We will also need your authorisation to continue to act as your accountant and to handle tax matters for your business, such as paying advance tax, filing VAT and tax returns. If you do not grant authorisation to Truster Works Ltd, it will not be possible to implement the business name service. The process will only proceed once authorisation has been granted.

Once you have granted authorisation, we will start registering your company. If you already have a business ID, we will use this existing ID and will not register a new company for you. Once the Tax Administration has approved the registration of your company, you will receive a message from the Tax Administration. If you have started using e-filing, you will receive a notification of the new message in the OmaVero service on Suomi.fi. Otherwise, you will receive the message by post. Truster will also be informed about the registration and we will inform Wolt/Foodora. The process is complete when Wolt/Foodora has processed the change.

You do not need to contact Truster, Walt/Foodora or the Tax Administration during the process if you do not encounter any problems.

The service fee for main couriers (i.e. persons who have a contract with Wolt or Foodora) is 0.99% of the invoiced amount net of VAT.

Are you a substitute? In this case, your service fee will be 3.99% of the Truster price list.
