Student financial aid
As a student, you should keep track of your annual income limit. Your gross income from light entrepreneurship is included in your annual income. If you earn more than the limit, you may have to repay your student financial aid.
General housing allowance
Housing allowanceis reviewed if your income increases significantly (by at least €400/month). As a light entrepreneur, your income may vary from month to month, so Kela often assesses your average income.
Even though your benefits may be reduced, working is almost always financially worthwhile. Just remember to report any changes in your income to Kela to avoid having to pay back any benefits.
