I have been assigned advance taxes, what should I do?

Pay the advance taxes yourself and set the tax rate to 0% in the application.

Sometimes the Tax Administration orders entrepreneurs to pay advance taxes independently. This means that you will receive invoices from the tax authorities.

If you have received an advance tax decision, follow these steps to avoid paying taxes twice:

  • Pay your bills: Pay the advance tax bills sent by the Tax Administration yourself in your online bank. Truster pay these on your behalf.
  • Zero percent: In the app, go to Company info > Tax rate and set the number to 0%.

Why is resetting important?

Truster automatically Truster tax from each of your invoices according to the percentage you set.

  • If the tax authority has already billed you for advance taxes and you also have a tax rate of, for example, 20% in Truster, you will pay taxes twice.

Summary: Either you pay taxes yourself with advance tax invoices (0% tax rateTruster) OR you allow Truster to withhold taxes from sales (no advance tax invoices from the tax authority). Do not use both at the same time.
