Once the company authorizations are in order, our service runs automatically in the background:
- Notification: We will prepare a VAT return based on your accounting records and submit it to the Tax Administration by the deadline.
- Payment: We handle VAT payments.
Frequently asked questions
Why does OmaVero show a payment due? You will see an outstanding VAT payment in OmaVero even though we have already taken care of it – no need to worry! The amount we have paid will be allocated to the outstanding payment no later than the day after the due date (the 13th of the month), at which point the outstanding amount will disappear from the OmaVero front page. However, you can find the payment by clicking on Balance breakdown.
Why does the application say "missing"?: The VAT period is only marked as completed after the period has ended. Therefore, for the current or recently ended period, it may say "missing" for a short time. We will take care of the notification in a timely manner—nothing is actually missing.
What if I receive a reminder letter?: If you receive a letter from the Tax Administration regarding a missing notification, the reason is almost always missing company authorization. Check your authorizations immediately in the application (Company information > Tax payment information). If the view is empty, authorize us immediately in the Suomi.fi service, and we will rectify the situation.
