How do I transfer billing to a subcontractor?

You can register your subcontractor and distribute the agreed percentage of the invoice directly in Truster. This feature streamlines collaboration and ensures that both parties receive their share effortlessly.

Follow the instructions below to split invoices and use HetiPalkka for split invoices.

Administrator task: Distribute invoice

To share an invoice with your subcontractor, follow these steps:

1. Open Truster app and select the invoice you want to share.
2. Click on "Share invoice with another user."
3. Select the user with whom you want to share the invoice from the list. (If you cannot find the user, see "Subcontractor task").
4. Enter the percentage you want to allocate to the subcontractor from the invoice.
5. Check the information carefully and confirm the transfer.

Please note that once you have confirmed the transfer, the transaction cannot be canceled. The invoice will still appear in your invoice list as a total amount, even if you have transferred part of it.

If you have multiple subcontractors

If the bill is split between several people, the order of distribution is important.

Start by dividing the bill between the person with the smaller percentage. Then repeat the above instructions and divide the bill between the person with the larger percentage.

Example: You have a bill for €1,000. You allocate 20% of this to subcontractor A and 30% to subcontractor B. First allocate the amount to subcontractor A (the smaller share) and then to subcontractor B.

Subcontractor's task: Allowing data sharing

If you, as the administrator, cannot find your subcontractor in the list, your subcontractor must activate data sharing.

The subcontractor must perform the following steps in their own Truster application:

1. Open the menu and select "Split bill."
2. Click "Allow sharing of information."
3. Copy the code that appears on the screen and send it to the invoice distributor (main user) in the manner you prefer.

ImmediatePay and invoice splitting

Would you like to receive your salary as immediate pay? The order is crucial here.

Important: Remember to make the split Truster first. You cannot request Immediate Pay until you have made the split and specified how the invoice will be divided between you and your subcontractor.

Once the distribution has been successfully completed, both you and your subcontractor can request your respective shares from HetiPalkka separately in accordance with the normal process.
