How does payment traffic workLight Pro Light ?

The customer pays us, we deduct our expenses, and we pay you the rest.

Light Pro Light , payments are made via invoice or direct debit to Truster's customer account, from which they are transferred to your account in the form of a private withdrawal after service fees, statutory deductions, and any other possible deductions have been made.

Example of payment transactions

1. You send your customer an invoice.

In this example, the invoice amounts are as follows:

€1,000
+ 25.5% VAT*
= €1,255

*Why is VAT added?
Value added tax is a consumption tax levied by the state on almost all goods and services sold in Finland. Companies add VAT to the price of their products and services because they are required to do so by law: VAT is always included in the sales price, unless it is specifically a 0% VAT sale. The company does not keep the VAT for itself, but collects it on behalf of the state. VAT is therefore added to the invoice because it is a tax that is included in the prices of goods and services in Finland.

We will deduct VAT from the invoice and pay it to the Tax Administration in accordance with your VAT period.

2. The customer pays the bill.

The customer pays the total invoice amount of €1,255 to Truster's customer account, where VAT and other deductions are withheld from the payment. For example:

Value added tax €255

The VAT portion of the example calculation is €255. This amount will be paid by Truster to the Tax Administration in connection with your VAT return.

Advance tax withholding €100

The amount of withholding tax depends on the tax rate you have set in the Truster app. In this example, the tax rate is 10%, so the withholding tax to be deducted from a €1,000 invoice is €100.

Service fee €39.90

The basic service feeLight Pro Light is 3.99%* of the invoice amount excluding VAT, which in this example is €1,000.

*Service fees may vary between different agreements.

Other possible deductions

  • YEL insurance premium, if you have taken out YEL insurance through Truster
  • Enforcement if you have a valid enforcement order

3. The private withdrawal will be paid to you.

Based on the example calculation, the amount payable by you for your own use is €860.10.
