Where can I find my company details?
You can find your business ID and other information in the Company Information section of the app.

If you do business with foreign companies or purchase goods from within the EU, you will often be asked for your VAT number. Finland does not have a separate VAT number; instead, it is a modified version of your business ID.

The formula is simple:

FI + business ID without hyphen = VAT number

Example:

  • Your business ID: 1234567-8
  • Your VAT number: FI12345678

You can use this number as soon as your company is registered for VAT. Your customers can check the validity of the number in the EU VIES database.
