If you log in to the income register or Kela asks for your information, you may be surprised to find that it is empty. Is something wrong? No, it isn't.
You are not an employee
The income register is intended for salary income. As a sole trader, you do not pay yourself a salary, but make private withdrawals from the company's account. These withdrawals are not legally considered salary, so they are not included in the income register.
"How do I prove my income?"
Since there is no official payslip, you will need other proof of income for your bank, Kela, or landlord.
Solution: Download the income statement Truster. It is an official document that shows your company's sales and expenses. You can find it under Company Information > Reports.
