I already have a business ID – can I use Pro ?

The service can also be easily activated with an existing business ID.

Yes, you can! Since a Y-number is personal (you can only have one), we will use your existing number.

Situation A: The business name is "in a desk drawer"

If you have a business ID but haven't used it in a while:

  1. Start your order as usual in the app.
  2. Grant personal authorizations on Suomi.fi.
  3. We will check the situation: If your company has been removed from the registers, we will submit a change notification and reactivate it. (Note: Reactivation may take 3–4 weeks).

Situation B: You switch to us from another accounting firm

Welcome! In order to ensure a smooth transition, we need the "initial data" from your previous accountant.

When will you change?

  • At the beginning of the year (recommendation): The easiest option for everyone. We only need the previous year's financial statements/income statement.
  • Mid-year: We need the income statement for the first half of the year and the general ledger so that we know what has already been recorded and reported to the tax authorities.

Example: You transfer to us on April 1, and your VAT period is three months. Your previous accountant will handle the VAT return for the period January 1 to March 31. In this case, please send us your income statement for the first part of the year.

Example: You join us on June 14, and your VAT period is one year. We will take care of your VAT returns. Send us your income statement for the current year and your VAT-specified journal or ledger.
