Light Pro Light , you have access to a receipt scanner that makes documenting your company's expenses quick and easy – whether you're at home on the sofa or traveling for work. You can upload electronic receipts via the receipt scanner and take a photo of physical paper receipts. Always add one receipt at a time – you cannot include multiple receipts in a single photo.
How our receipt scanner works
- Open the Menu in the app and select Receipts.
- Click the + button in the lower right corner.
- Select whether you want to scan the receipt or take a photo.
- Upload a file from your device or take a photo, save
- Add additional information to the receipt, such as "Car service."

After recording, the receipt is sent to us for internal inspection. All receipts are always checked to ensure that the appropriate receipts are approved before VAT and tax returns. This means that receipts may not necessarily be approved immediately or even tomorrow, but don't worry, all receipts will be checked and approved in due course!
What kind of receipt is acceptable for accounting purposes?
In order for a receipt to be accepted for accounting purposes, it must contain the following information
- Seller's name, address, and business ID
- Date of purchase
- What has been purchased
- Purchase price (taxable and tax-free amount)
- VAT base
We are often asked whether a screenshot taken from online banking is sufficient as a receipt for accounting purposes. We have to say no, as online banking payment details do not cover all of the above-mentioned information. The screenshot does not show all the seller's details, the product, or the VAT rate.
