If the Finnish Immigration Service (Migri) or another authority requests proof of your income, a bank statement alone is usually not sufficient. When you invoice using your own business ID, your income is not recorded in the income register, and no pay stubs are generated for the payments, so you must provide proof of your income using reports.
The 5 most common reports for verifying income
You can find the reports in the app menu under " Downloadable Reports."
Income statement
This is the most common report required to verify revenue data. The income statement breaks down your company's revenue, expenses, and net income for the period you select.
Sales report
The sales report shows your company's sales invoices (invoices created through our system) and the VAT breakdown for those invoices. This report supports the figures in the income statement.
Expense report
The expense report includes your company's expenses—that is, all expenses that have been approved for your accounting records through us.
Lifting Report
The Withdrawal Report supports the income statement and sales report. It compiles all individual withdrawals made to you and their amounts. This report therefore shows what amounts have been paid into your account and when.

YEL Certificate
If you have valid YEL insurance, you can obtain the certificate from your pension insurance company’s online service. We do not have access to this certificate. If you purchased the insurance through us, you can obtain the certificate by logging in to Ilmarinen’s online service.
