How do I know if my client has paid the invoice?

Check the status of your invoice in the app: "Paid" means that your salary is on its way. If necessary, you can ask for more information from customer service.

Are you waiting for payday? With Truster, you don't have to guess when your money will hit your account. You can easily check your account balance right in the app.

Does the due date refer to payday?

Not always. The due date on the invoice is the date by which your client must pay the invoice. In accordance with the standard payment schedule, your pay will be issued once the invoice has been paid and the payment has been processed by us. So, if the invoice is paid before the due date, you will also receive your pay before the due date.

Interpreting the invoice status

Open Truster and click " Invoices" on the home screen.

Waiting

Your client's payment has not yet been posted to the invoice. The payment has not yet been received. If your client has just paid the invoice, the payment will be in your account within 1–3 business days.

Overdue

The invoice due date has passed, and we have not yet received payment. If you have an active Payment Watch set up for this customer, an automatic payment reminder will be sent 5 days (14 days for individual customers) after the due date.

Paid

We have received your payment. Your paycheck will be processed no later than the next business day and will be deposited into your account within 1–2 business days. If you selected Express Payment for your paycheck, it will be processed on the same day (weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.).

Pay stub in real time

Once your pay has been calculated and paid, a pay stub for that payment is generated in the app. The pay stub shows details of the deductions made from that payment, as well as the amount to be paid to you.

Pay stubs can be found under the " Payroll" menu item.
