Stripe payments for the Truster subscription

Monthly payments for Truster subscriptions are processed through Stripe. Learn how to add a card, view receipts, and what to do if a charge fails.

The monthly payments for your Truster subscription are securely processed through Stripe. Stripe is an internationally recognized, PCI-DSS-compliant payment processor that handles credit card and bank debit transactions on your behalf. You can manage your subscription and payment information at my.truster.com.

How is the Truster subscription billed?

The monthly fee for Truster subscription will be automatically charged to the payment card you provided on the same day each month that your subscription began. You will always receive an email receipt confirming the successful charge.

  • Payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and most major debit and credit cards.
  • Billing date: The same day every month – for example, if you started your subscription on the 5th of the month, the next charge will be on the 5th of the following month.
  • Name of the payer on the bank statement: The charge will appear under the name TRUSTER or STRIPE * TRUSTER.

Adding or changing a payment card

  1. Log in to my.truster.com using your online banking credentials.
  2. Select Orders and Billing.
  3. Click " Add payment method " or " Change card."
  4. Enter the details of the new card. The information is saved directly in Stripe’s system—we do not see or store the card number.
  5. Confirm the change using your bank's 3D Secure authentication.

Viewing receipts and invoices

Every successful charge generates a receipt that you can download as a PDF for your accounting records.

  • You will automatically receive a receipt via email immediately after the charge is processed.
  • You can find old receipts under Orders and Billing → Payment History at my.truster.com.
  • Both the receipt and the order confirmation can be downloaded as PDF files.

What if the payment fails?

If your card has insufficient funds, has expired, or the bank blocks the payment, Stripe will automatically retry the charge for a few days. You will receive an email for each failed attempt.

  • Here's what to do: Update or replace your card at my.truster.com.
  • Billing will automatically resume, and you don't need to do anything else.
  • If the payment fails repeatedly, your subscription may be temporarily suspended until the payment goes through.

Canceling an order

You can cancel your Truster subscription at any time at my.truster.com under " Subscriptions and Billing" → "Cancel Subscription." The cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will not be charged after that.

Is Stripe secure?

Yes. Stripe is one of the world’s most widely used payment processors and meets the payment card industry’s strictest security standards (PCI-DSS Level 1). Card details are not stored in Truster’s systems—they are transmitted directly to Stripe in encrypted form. You verify each card addition using your bank’s strong authentication (3D Secure).
