Why is it important to sign a contract with a substitute?
The best way to protect yourself as an entrepreneur (such as a food delivery driver who uses a substitute) is to always agree in writing. Even though a verbal agreement is legally valid, in the event of a dispute, it is difficult to prove what has been agreed upon when it is just "one person's word against another's."
The assignment agreement is a written agreement between the principal and the substitute that prevents the most important misunderstandings.

You don't have to draft the agreement yourself from scratch. You can use Truster's ready-made, legally valid template.
Remember to fill in the details and sign the agreement between both parties before the substitute starts work.
