Substitute: How to accept payments

How do I receive payment as a substitute, and how can I request Hetipalkka for my share?

Substitute: How to accept payments

There are two different procedures for receiving payments, depending on whether the main courier uses Truster or not.

The main courier uses Truster

This is the easiest way to share invoices. We receive the main courier’s billing information according to the normal schedule and create invoices in the main courier’s profile. The main courier receives a notification in their app, after which they can share the invoice with you. Instructions for the main courier can be found here.

The main courier is asking for your code

The main courier needs a code from you so they can split the bill with you. You only need to provide the code once. You can find the code in your app:

  1. Open Menu
  2. Click " Split Bill"
  3. Click " Allow data sharing"
  4. Copy the code and send it to the main courier

You will receive a notification once the main courier has shared the invoice with you. If the invoice is not shared by the agreed-upon time, please contact the main courier.

The main courier does not use Truster

If the main courier does not use Truster, you must create an invoice for the main courier. Create the invoice Truster and send it to the main courier. The main courier will pay the invoice to our account; we will deduct our fees from the payment and pay the commission to you. You can find instructions on how to create an invoice here.

Instant Pay from an Invoice

Once the main courier has sent you the invoice, you can choose whether you want to receive payment according to the normal schedule (on the invoice due date) or whether you want to transfer the funds to your account sooner.

If you choose the faster payment schedule, click on the invoice sent to you and select "Instant Pay." Instant Pay payments are made on weekdays between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
