Save your receipts! Take a photo and upload your receipts Truster right away. Read why it is important to keep your receipts for tax deductions and warranties.
Receipts are valuable items. If you want to get reimbursed for expenses or deduct purchases on your taxes, you need to keep your receipts.
Here's how to do it the smart way
Take a photo immediately: Take a photo of the receipt immediately at the time of purchase.
Upload to the service: Attach the receipt image directly to the expense report if you are billing the customer for the expenses.
Keep: Although an electronic copy is often sufficient for accounting purposes, we recommend that you keep the original receipts (or clear digital copies) for warranty purposes and possible tax audits.
Without a receipt, you cannot deduct the expense, which means you will have to pay "unnecessary" tax on the purchase.
