🔍 Why is there an amount payable showing in MyTax (OmaVero)?
If you have granted us the company mandate, we have submitted your VAT return, and the amount payable based on the return is visible in MyTax (OmaVero). However, you don’t need to take any action, as we have already paid the amount to the Tax Administration. The payable amount will disappear from MyTax no later than the day after the due date, i.e., on the 13th.
📱 Why does the app say "missing" in the VAT data?
This is because VAT returns are always submitted after the end of the VAT period, according to the Tax Administration's timetable. This is why you may see a "missing" status for the most recent VAT period, as this period has not yet been declared or processed.

- For monthly and quarterly declarants, the due date is the 12th of the second month following the month of the declaration.
- Annual declarants must make their declaration and payment by the last day of February of the following year.

💰 When can I get a VAT refund?
Any refund will be paid to you according to the Tax Administration's schedule, typically one week after the due date of the VAT return. This cannot be accelerated by Truster.
📬 I received a reminder letter, what do I need to do?
The Tax Administration will send you a reminder letter if the VAT return has not been submitted by the due date. As a result, the tax authorities have estimated the amount of your tax. But don't worry, it is possible to correct the situation!
👉 Please promptly grant us a company mandate. Once the Tax Administration has processed the notification we submitted, you will receive a new decision in which the estimated taxation and the tax increase have been removed. Only the late filing penalty will remain, which you can pay to the Tax Administration by the due date using the provided payment details.
🔎 How do I check if I have given you a mandate?
If you are unsure whether your mandates are in order, you can easily check in the Truster app:
Open menu > Company information > Tax payment information
If you see payment details, everything is OK. If the page is blank and no payment details are displayed, the mandates are missing. We will also contact you separately via the Truster app if we notice that your company mandate is missing.
