Do you use a subcontractor or a substitute? Please remember to inform us well in advance whenever you use a subcontractor or a substitute.
You can now easily register a subcontractor and the percentage of the invoice to be shared directly in the Truster app! Check out the instructions in this blog post to learn how to split the invoice for a subcontractor in the app and how to request HetiPalkka.
Main user's task 👇
Follow the steps below to easily register your subcontractors! 👇
- Open Truster and select the invoice you want to share with another user and click on "Split the invoice with another user"
- Select the user you want to share the invoice with from the list
- Enter the percentage you want to split from the bill
- Check your details and confirm the transfer*
*Once you have confirmed the transfer, the operation can no longer be cancelled.

If you have more than one subcontractor or substitute, do the following:
Follow the instructions above, but start the division calculation first for the one with the lower percentage. Then repeat the instructions and divide the invoice to the one with the higher percentage.
Please note that you will still see the invoice as a whole amount. For example, if you split €500 from a €1000 invoice, the full €1000 will still appear on your invoice list.

Subcontractor's task 👇
Couldn't find the user you want to share the invoice with in the list? 😰
Your subcontractor will need to take these steps:
- Open the Truster application and select "Splitting the invoice" from the menu
- Click "Allow data sharing"
- Copy the code that appears on the screen and distribute it to the invoice distributor (main user) as you wish.

Want to receive your payment as HetiPalkka? 💸
Remember to make the split first in the Truster app.
You cannot request HetiPalkka before the split is done and you've specified how the invoice is divided between you and your substitute (or subcontractor).
Once the split is complete, both you and your substitute can request HetiPalkka separately for your own shares.
⚠️ So remember to make the split first, and only then request HetiPalkka.
