What is YEL and who is entitled to it? 🤔

YEL, or self-employed persons' pension insurance, is a statutory and compulsory insurance that guarantees you security both now and in the future.

💡 YEL insurance builds up your pension and also provides cover in case of illness, parental leave or unemployment.

You are liable for YEL if:

✅ You are 18-68 years old

✅ You are self-employed for at least 4 months continuously

✅ Your earnings exceed 9 208,43 € / year (2025)

✅ Living in Finland

Do you recognise yourself? Then it's time to get your YEL in shape - easily through Truster. 🙌
